The HKTDC Hong Kong Toys & Games Fair provides an excellent platform for exhibitors to showcase an extensive array of innovative and smart tech toys, creating brilliant business opportunities for buyers to explore.
Over the years, the Fair has provided a world-class platform for toy manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their latest and most innovative playthings to global buyers. The Fair has also generated countless business deals and fostered invaluable information exchange. Today, the Fair is recognised as Asia’s flagship industry event. Running under the theme Innovative Play: A Legend Across Time, this year’s Fair welcomes more than 1,800 exhibitors from 30 countries and regions, including group pavilions from Mainland China, Korea, Pinghu (Mainland China), Taiwan, the Hong Kong Brand Toy Association and World of Toys. Zoning of the Fair ensures buyers can source easily. A key highlight is the Brand Name Gallery, which houses more than 220 popular brands and their premium toys and games. Three zones launching this year in response to current market trends are Green Toys for the rise of ESG, Collectible Toys to cater to the burgeoning collectibles market and ODM Hub in recognition of increased demand for original design manufacturing. Other zones include Smart-tech Toys & Games, Educational Toys & Games, Electronic & Remote-controlled Toys, Festive & Party Items, Multiple Toys Products, Soft Toys & Dolls, World of Outdoor & Sporting Goods and more. The EXHIBITION+ hybrid model allows buyers to source beyond the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre using the HKTDC online smart business matching platform Click2Match and hktdc.com Sourcing platform. Buyers can schedule and conduct online meetings with local and overseas exhibitors via Click2Match until 18 January. They can also scan the dedicated QR codes of exhibitors and product showcases at the fairground using the Scan2Match function in the HKTDC Marketplace App to bookmark their favourite exhibitors, browse product information and engage with exhibitors even after the Fair to extend their sourcing journey. The Fair also keeps industry players informed on trends and market developments and expands their business networks through seminars, buyer forums, product launches and networking activities. A key event is the upgraded Asian Toys & Games Forum, which features expert speakers discussing prospects, emerging trends and distinctive market opportunities of the toy industry under the theme Unlocking the Asian Market: Insights for the Toy Industry. Running concurrently with the Toys & Games Fair at the same venue are the HKTDC Hong Kong Baby Products Fair and the Hong Kong International Stationery & School Supplies Fair. Together, the three fairs offer crossover business opportunities to participants from various sectors. The Toys & Games Fair has evolved significantly over half a century. Going forward, we remain committed to our founding mission, which is to bring together high-quality global manufacturers, suppliers and buyers under one roof to celebrate the joy of play and help everyone in the industry navigate the challenges of an ever-changing global marketplace.
