As the government seeks to boost solar energy output to 1.52 gigawatt (GW) within two years and 20GW by 2025, Taiwan solar industry is expected a steady growth. This year's PV Taiwan will offer the best platform to connect entire supply chain.

The Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC) is promoting WindForce 12, a global industry blueprint that aims to enable 1,250 GW of wind power installed worldwide by 2020 supplying 12 % of the world's electricity. This year's Wind Energy Taiwan will offer the best platform to connect key players in varous fields, inculding raw material suppliers, component/subsystem suppliers, balance of plant (BoP), offshore and onshore wind turbine systems, and developers and operators.

Storage is a key segment of the growth of renewable energy industry due to the intermittent and volatile nature of renewable energy.According to Bloomberg New Energy Finance, the global energy storage market will grow from less than 5 GW to more than 300 GW of capacity in storage and 125 GW of capacity in output by the end of the next decade. Meanwhile, overall investment will be as high as US$103 billion US dollars. This year's Smart Storage Taiwan will offer the best platform to connect the entire supply chain, including energy saving and storage technologies, system components, smart meters, battery production technologies, smart grid equipment and solutions, charging equipment and power systems for electric cars and home energy storage, recycling of automobile batteries and more.

The critical clean energies have been a focus among developed countries around the world, including European countries, U.S., and Japan, which have invested hundreds of millions of dollars in implementing clean energy infrastructures and policies.
