The World Rail Festival will be in its 9th year and is a landmark event for global rail, bus and urban transport operators. The event brings international travel executives together to discuss the digitalisation of the transport business model, how commercial growth can be achieved and how rail could prepare to meet the demands of the travel ecosystem of the future.
The event continues to grow and attract an increasing number of global rail, bus and urban operators, disruptors and start-ups. In 2022, we will continue to make sure the latest technologies, disruptors and leading thinkers are represented at the event.
The new focus in 2019 will be on stations looking at technologies such as PIS systems, wayfinding software, passenger counting and advertising.
In 2022, we will have even more transport authorities and government officials to add to our outstanding list of attendees as well as hosting a number of focused pre-conference summits covering key issues and bringing the commercial divisions together.
