PowerTech Expo 2026 is the key exhibition and conference in Central Asia dedicated to renewable energy, e-mobility, energy efficiency, and ESG technologies.

Event Overview:

PowerTech Expo 2026 is a 24th international exhibition and conference focused on sustainability, decarbonization, and the implementation of advanced green technologies. The event brings together over 5,000 visitors, including representatives from government, business, international organizations, and startup ecosystems.

It covers vital themes such as renewable energy, electric transport and charging infrastructure, energy efficiency, ESG finance, low-carbon industry, and green urban development.

The business program features 6+ high-level sessionsexpert-led workshops, and a dedicated Startup & Innovation Zone, showcasing cutting-edge cleantech projects from more than 10 countries.

Conference:

The PowerTech 2026 Conference is the intellectual core of the exhibition — a leading platform for strategic dialogue, expert insights, and the exchange of forward-thinking solutions in the fields of renewable energy, sustainability, and decarbonization.

The conference will take place over two days and feature 6+ thematic sessions, bringing together:

  • Government officials and policymakers

  • Industry leaders and innovators

  • Green finance experts

  • Urban sustainability professionals

  • International development institutions

  • Academics and clean tech entrepreneurs

In 2025, the PowerTech Conference was officially opened by Mansur Oshurbayev, Vice-Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and gathered over 50 distinguished speakers from across 14 countries. Key participants included representatives from the Asian Development Bank, Development Bank of Kazakhstan, EBRD GEFF, UN GCIP, QazaqGaz, EY, and other leading institutions.

The sessions will feature simultaneous interpretation into Kazakh, Russian, and English, allowing for full engagement of all international and local participants.

Startup & Innovation Zone:

The Startup & Innovation Zone at PowerTech 2026 is a specially curated area designed to highlight high-potential clean tech startups and innovation-driven SMEs from Kazakhstan and beyond. The zone is organized in partnership with UN GCIP (Global Cleantech Innovation Programme) and supported by key development institutions.

In 2026, the zone will feature:

  • 20+ carefully selected startups

  • Focus areas: renewable energy, circular economy, energy storage, eco-construction, waste management, and digital green solutions

  • Live pitch sessions, demo showcases, and investor networking

The zone serves as a launchpad for early-stage companies to attract investment, pilot projects, and strategic partnerships. It is a key destination for venture capitalists, impact investors, accelerators, and corporate innovation leaders.

Workshop Zone:

The Workshop Zone is a hands-on space for in-depth training, case studies, and interactive sessions hosted by leading companies and organizations. Unlike traditional panels, workshops provide a more practical environment where participants can engage directly with industry experts and solution providers.

Topics include:

  • How to implement ESG standards for mid-sized businesses

  • Energy management systems for commercial facilities

  • Preparing successful green finance proposals

  • Introduction to carbon offsetting and reporting

  • Urban electrification and smart mobility

  • Innovations in solar system integration

Participation in workshops is open to all registered attendees, with advance sign-up available online. Workshops are designed for both technical specialists and decision-makers.
