The import value of food and beverages to Kenya was measured at some 16.5 billion Kenyan shillings (KSh), roughly 142 million U.S. dollars. The main categories of imports of food and beverages for Kenya were maize, unmilled wheat and wheat flour, rice, sugar, fishery products, vegetable items, dairy products, edible oils and fats, coffee, tea and spices.
