The International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS) has been held in Russia since 1993.

It is held under the patronage of the President of the Russian Federation with his personal participation, as well as with the participation of leaders of partner countries of Russia. The organizers of the MAKS are the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Rostekh Group, the organizer is Aviasalon OJSC.

Every two years in the city of Zhukovsky in the Moscow region in the complex created on the basis of the airfield of the Gromov Flight Research Institute, an exhibition of achievements of the Russian aerospace complex and a fair of the latest aircraft of the world's leading countries.

As part of the business program, which includes more than one and a half hundred events, scientific conferences, business meetings and negotiations, demonstration flights for professionals. In addition, MAKS organizes large-scale airshows for guests with the participation of more than eight dozen aircraft and the best Russian and foreign aerobatic teams.

More than eight hundred exhibitors from three dozen countries are accommodated at MAKS exhibition areas, which exceed 26 thousand square meters in pavilions and 160 thousand square meters in outdoor areas.

Международный авиационно-космический салон МАКС 2021 пройдет 20-25 июля 2021 года в городе Жуковском.

Организаторы МАКС 2021 объявили о том, что Международный авиационно-космический салон МАКС 2021 пройдёт в установленные даты:

«Мировая аэрокосмическая индустрия оказалась в числе отраслей, наиболее пострадавших от пандемии: вслед за прекращением международных полётов авиакомпании начали стремительно отказываться от закупок новой авиатехники, а крупнейшие иностранные авиапроизводители, почти не заключая новых контрактов и сталкиваясь с отказами от уже заказанной техники, не готовы участвовать в отраслевых выставках. В 2020 году было принято решение отменить авиашоу в Фарнборо, а под конец года озвучен вердикт и по крупнейшему в мире авиасалону в Ле Бурже: из выставочного календаря 2021 года это событие вычеркнуто. Но проводимый в подмосковном Жуковском Международный авиационно-космический салон МАКС пройдёт в установленные даты. Регистрация участников, стартовавшая в середине октября, идёт высокими темпами. Уже подтвердили свои планы и зарезервировали площади ведущие российские авиапроизводители, ряд иностранных компаний. Кроме того, на МАКС состоится ряд мировых премьер, что повысит статус выставки.»

« МАКС обещает стать самым значимым событием аэрокосмической отрасли в выставочном календаре 2021 года. Отчасти это связано с тем, что конкуренты сходят с дистанции. Крупнейший в мире авиасалон, традиционно проводимый в Ле Бурже, не смог собрать достаточного количества заявок, поэтому устроитель мероприятия принял решение отказаться от проведения очередной выставки. Это и не удивительно: гиганты мировой авиаиндустрии месяцами не подписывают новые контракты, графики поставок сдвигаются на более поздние сроки, а некоторые сделки и вовсе срываются. В этой ситуации как ни показывай товар лицом на европейском рынке – сделок не будет, так как авиакомпании большинства стран мира драматически сократили объёмы перевозок. В этой ситуации им не до новых самолётов – даже существующий парк загрузить не удаётся.»

Ситуация на российском рынке отличается от того, что мы наблюдаем в Северной Америке или Евросоюзе. Отечественные авиакомпании после локдауна второго квартала 2020 года смогли существенно восстановить объёмы перевозок. А меры государственной поддержки, оказываемые российским производителями гражданской авиатехники, позволяют поддержать спрос на наши самолёты и вертолёты на достаточно высоком уровне.»
